How do I reset my progress?
Open Settings with the gear icon, scroll to the bottom and tap Reset All Progress. This clears everything you've learned and can't be undone.
Is my progress synced across devices?
No. Your progress is stored on your device for privacy, and cloud sync isn't available yet.
Is there a limit on photos?
No. Text recognition runs on your device, with no daily caps or usage limits.
Which JLPT levels are covered?
All of them. The hand-designed learning path runs from JLPT N5 to N1 and covers 2,200+ kanji, along with the words and sentences they unlock.
How do I remove ads?
The free version shows ads. A one-time Remove Ads purchase in the app turns them off, and you can restore it on a new device from the same store account.
Is Yomaru on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Get it on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, or on Google Play for Android.
